Why the WikiNode page is referred to as "About"

I believe the standard wiki name for an About page is a WikiNode.

For example, this WikiNode page is basically an About page for the 43 Folders wiki.

The link to the WikiNode here is titled About to prevent confusion among users who aren't total wiki geeks.
